Eventful Week!

Well...Andy and I are no longer 'newlyweds'...we had our first anniversary last Monday. It was a rather eventful weekend...although not for the reason we had hoped. Andy's uncle Dick Bloom passed away the week before so last Sunday (April 20th) was the rosary service and the funeral was Monday morning. After the funeral we hung out with Andy's siblings and went to a few places in Spokane. We had planned to take Andy's parents out for dinner ,but we were all so tired that decided to do it another time. Andy and I stayed at the Davenport Hotel that night (awesome btw..if you ever need a place to stay in Spokane I'd highly recommend it!!) and had a quick bite to eat at The Onion (very tasty!) Tuesday a.m. we woke up and headed back to this side of the state.

Tuesday night we had my friend's Brad and Katie's 2 year old daughter Avery stay with us! She was so much fun and we can't wait to have a little one of our own running around!!

Andy had the entire week off work, so while I was at Bible Study Fellowship Weds a.m. he decided to go look at some trucks. He found a Tacoma he thought I would like, so when I was done I went down to look at it and we decided, what the heck?! So....I am now the proud new owner of a silver 06 Toyota Tacoma quad cab :) It's soo nice, roomy and comfy!! Well..that's my week in a 'nutshell'...I'm now relieved to have the night off after a couple crazy days at work!! :)

The past year...

I've decided to join the blogging world..I figure it's a good way to keep everyone up to date on my life!! I guess I will just give a brief summary of the past year..Andy and I were married at the Liberty Theater on April 21st, that was followed by our 1 week honeymoon in Maui. We purchased our first home together at the end of May and moved in the beginning of June. Since then we have been putting the house together and getting settled. Andy is still working at Bank of America, but has been promoted to a Personal Banker up in Seattle. I finished my police dispatch training and am officially a Police Dispatcher (since Feb). So far I am really enjoying it...although it can be crazy and stressful at times!! Next on our 'to-do' list is travel to both New York and Europe and start a family!! All in God's time of course...that's all for now...more updates in the near future :)
